Master’s Degree Programs in Wyoming
Wyoming may be a less populous state, but their health care system is reputable in its own right. The state has a low unemployment rate, therefore, allowing health care workers to find, keep and advance their careers. Hospitals and other health care facilities rank as some of the largest employers in the state, including Campbell County Memorial Hospital, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, Memorial Hospital of Carbon County, Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County and Powell Valley Healthcare. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there were about 12,000 health care practitioners and technicians working in Wyoming in 2008, and their annual mean wage was $62,350. In comparison to other larger states, Wyoming pays relatively high for its health care workers, considering the lower employment rate of professionals.
