Mississippi has many job opportunities for health care workers looking to assist patients in their medical needs. Unfortunately, there is a large number of Mississippians who do not have health insurance. It is estimated that half a million Mississippi residents are uninsured, according to Kaiser State Health Facts. The University of Mississippi Health Care has some the state’s best hospitals and clinics, and is a top employer of health care workers.
