While health care industry growth is slower now in Minnesota than in previous years, the health care sector is still adding jobs in Minnesota in a time when most industries are not. In fact, health care is a major part of the Minnesota economy. About one in seven employed Minnesotans work in health care, according to the Star Tribune, the major newspaper for Minneapolis-St. Paul.
