Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management

Eller's MBA graduate program strives to be both academically rigorous and relevant to today's fast-paced business marketplace. During the course of the two year program, students hone their analytical skills while building a comprehensive foundation of core business knowledge, participating in a summer internship, and serving as an analyst or consultant for public or private businesses. MBA students wishing to pursue the new concentration in Health Care Management will also attend classes at the Center for Management Innovations in Health Care (CMIHC). An interdisciplinary venture, CMIHC works to develop and contribute to the management of healthcare systems through research, education and community partnerships. To earn an MBA in Health Care Management, students are required to complete a minimum of 55 credits, with at least 12 of those credits being earned in classes taught at CMIHC. Students who complete the program will be prepared to take advantage of the rapidly growing range of professional opportunities in healthcare management.
